Here at June Mountain, we take family seriously. With 1,500 acres of uncrowded slopes, plenty of beginner friendly terrain, an easy-going atmosphere, as well as breathtaking views of the surrounding lakes and peaks, the whole family will enjoy a Sierra ski day at June. That's why children 12 and under ski/ride free.

The free June Mountain Kids Season Pass gives your children under 12 unlimited access to June Mountain all season long. This replaces day tickets for kids, which are no longer offered. Everyone in your family must have a season pass or lift ticket. Your child's free season pass must be reserved in advance, and picked up in-person at the June Mountain Ticket Office. If your child has a birthday in our system that states they are older than 12 years of age, we will require proof of age to sell you a 12 and under season pass.


24/25 Season June Child Passes can be reserved this fall (for ages 12 & under at the start of 24/25 season).

Meet Bucky
This loveable deer is June Mountain’s iconic mascot. He loves skiing with kids, nature and hanging out with guests. Be sure to say “Hi!” when you see him. Keep an eye out for him at the ski and snowboard school and shredding on the slopes.
