At June Mountain, kids 12 and under ski and ride free all season long. To help streamline your visit, “purchase” a $0 June Mountain Child Season Pass in advance on IkonPass.com. Once you arrive, simply stop by the Ticket Office to pick it up, and your child will be set for the entire season.
If you haven’t set up a Child Season Pass ahead of time, no problem. Eligible kids can still visit the Ticket Office on the day of arrival to have a Child Season Pass issued on the spot at no cost. Pre-purchasing in advance helps speed things up, especially during busy periods, but it’s not required.

Meet Bucky
This lovable deer is June Mountain’s iconic mascot. He loves skiing with kids, nature and hanging out with guests. Keep an eye out for Bucky around the base area. He’s always down for high-fives, photos, and laps in Bucky's Playground.
Bucky's Bonfire
A cozy gathering spot perfect for warming up, taking a break, or ending the day on a mellow note. Parents relax, kids recharge, and everyone gets a breather before the next lap.
Free Bucky Antlers
A kid favorite and a rite of passage at June. Pick up a free pair of Bucky antlers and let your little ones rep their love for California’s Family Mountain—no purchase required. Get them at the Guest Services counter in the Chalet.
Bucky's Playground
Looking for a kid-approved lap? Bucky’s favorite run, appropriately named "Bucky's Playground", is a kid-favorite zone with enhanced terrain designed just for learning and progression. Featuring small jumps, mellow rollers, and beginner-friendly jibs, it’s the perfect introduction to terrain parks and a fun next step for confident cruisers and growing riders looking to try something new in a low-pressure setting.
